The next morning we left without breakfast for the Road to Hana.
The weather was so-so but nevertheless we enjoyed the windy road through the rainforest with apparently approximately 600 curves and 54 bridges and past many waterfalls.
Once we stopped for a hot drink and the famous banana bread and later for some lunch.
In the evening we went to the cinema to see “Murder on the Orient Express”. Afterwards we couldn’t find an open restaurant despite the fact that it was Saturday. Eventually we bought beer, crisps, and sandwiches at a petrol station and had picnic dinner back at the hostel.
