The next day we had pancakes for breakfast at the hostel and then drove to Haleakala National Park, with its massive shield volcano that forms more than 75% of the Hawaiian Island of Maui.
It was amazingly beautiful and the weather was great too. 🙂
Then we went snorkeling and we saw lots of stunningly colourful fish, trumpetfish, and a giant tortoise! In the evening we went past Big Beach to Little Beach where they have a sunset drum circle (hippie gathering) every Sunday. That was very entertaining and the sunset itself absolutely gorgeous.
At the “Paia Fish Market” I had a huge portion of seafood linguine and a glass of Riesling for dinner.
